Cinema Architecture Acoustic Design Movie Theater Interior Decoration Design
1. Overview of architectural acoustic design of movie theaters
A movie theater is a place where movies are shown for audiences. It is composed of audience hall, public area, projector room, and other rooms (including VIP reception room, building equipment room, intelligent system room, etc.). The architectural acoustic design of the cinema is an essential part to eliminate the acoustic focus of the audience hall, flutter echo, and multiple echoes, reduce the acoustic interference of noise on the sound reinforcement system, and create a good audiovisual effect. The acoustic design of the cinema mainly includes the content and requirements of reverberation control, sound insulation design, noise control, etc.
Movie theaters can be divided into: ordinary channels, stereo channels, four channels, six channels
The size of cinemas can be divided into: super large, large, medium and small
2. Reverberation time of architectural acoustic design of cinema
1. Cinema architectural design should include acoustic design, and acoustic design should run through the whole process of cinema design.
2. The rear wall of the auditorium should adopt a broadband strong sound-absorbing structure to prevent echo. Its average coefficient should not be less than 0.6s in the range of 125-4000 Hz, and the sound absorption coefficient at 125 Hz should not be less than 0.4.
3. The wall behind the screen should be treated with sound absorption
4. Arrange sound-absorbing materials reasonably according to the shape of other walls
5. The ceiling should reasonably arrange the area and type of sound-absorbing materials according to the level of the cinema.
6. Choose the seat reasonably (fully consider the material of the seat and the noise pollution generated)
7. The range of seats with good stereo effect covers more than 2/3 of all seats.
3. Sound insulation and noise control of cinema architectural acoustic design
1. When the roof project of the auditorium adopts a light roof, sound insulation and vibration reduction measures should be taken
2. It is not appropriate to install elevators or escalators adjacent to the auditorium in cinemas. When adjacent to the installation, measures such as sound insulation and vibration reduction should be taken
3. All kinds of rooms should be arranged according to their noise levels. Noisy rooms should not be adjacent to the auditorium. When it is adjacent to the installation, noise reduction, sound insulation and vibration reduction measures should be taken. For example, the boiler room or cooling tower should not be installed adjacent to the auditorium; when it is adjacent to the installation, noise reduction, sound insulation and vibration reduction measures should be taken.
4. Public spaces such as lounges, foyers, and corridors should be used as sound insulation and noise reduction measures for auditoriums, and sound gates should be installed at the entrances and exits of auditoriums.
5. Choose a low-noise air-conditioning system and ventilation system. Take corresponding measures to prevent series connection between halls and halls. Air-conditioning or ventilation systems shall adopt noise reduction and vibration isolation measures. The noise transmitted to the audience hall through the air outlet is 5dB lower than the allowable noise in the hall
6. The walls of the auditorium cannot be perforated, and all pipes that need to pass through the walls must be sealed. The power outlets on both sides of the wall should be staggered and installed to achieve the best sound insulation measures.
7. The partition wall between the audience hall and the projection machine room should be treated with sound insulation, and the sound insulation of intermediate frequency (500-1000Hz) should not be less than 45dB.
8. The sound isolation between adjacent auditoriums should not be less than 50dB for low frequencies, and not less than 60dB for medium and high frequencies. 9. The sound insulation of the sound insulation door of the auditorium should not be less than 35dB. The space with sound brake should be treated with sound absorption and noise reduction.
10. All air conditioner rooms, ventilator rooms, refrigerator rooms, water pump rooms, power transformation and distribution rooms, lighting control rooms, etc. must be sound-absorbed, noise-reduced, sound-insulated and vibration-reduced. Its sound insulation and vibration reduction capabilities should make the noise transmitted to the audience hall 5dB lower than the allowable noise in the hall
4. Material preparation for architectural acoustic design of cinema
1. The interior decoration materials of the auditorium should prevent interfering light, and non-reflective facing materials should be selected
2. Matt black or dark decoration materials should be used for the screen frame, screen back wall and nearby side walls and the ceiling in front of the screen, and matt black or dark decoration materials should be used for the proscenium, large screen and edge screen.
3. The floor of the projection room should be made of anti-static, dust-proof, wear-resistant and easy-to-clean materials
4. The seat step structure in the auditorium should be made of non-combustible materials
5. The ceiling materials in the auditorium, the sound gate and the evacuation passage shall adopt grade A decoration materials, and the wall and floor materials shall not be lower than grade B1
6. The sound absorption, heat insulation and thermal insulation materials in the ceiling of the auditorium and the inspection and maintenance horseway should use grade A materials
7. The projection machine room should be separated from other parts by a partition wall with a fire resistance rating of not less than 2.0h and a floor with a fire resistance rating of not less than 1.5h. Ceiling decoration materials should not be lower than Class A, and wall and floor materials should not be lower than Class B.
8. The keel materials used for the ceiling and wall decoration of the cinema shall be Class A materials
9. The ceiling of the interior decoration of the smoking room in the cinema should be made of grade A materials, and the floor and walls should be made of materials not lower than grade B1
10. The number of evacuation doors in the auditorium should be calculated and determined, and should not be less than 2. And should not be less than 0.90m. Class A fire doors should be used.
5. Five-step service process
01. Understand customer needs
The first step is to understand the customer's needs (data provided: on-site video, on-site accurate CAD drawings, the style that the customer likes)
02. Plane layout planning
The second step is the layout planning, after the modification is confirmed (charge: deposit for design scheme)
03. Scheme Design Customization
The third step is to customize the scheme design (production of renderings and simulation software), and confirm the modification (fee: final payment for design scheme & deposit for construction design scheme)
04. Construction design drawing
The fourth step is to complete the professional docking of machinery, equipment, fire protection, water and electricity, etc., and complete the drawing of construction drawings (charge: final payment for construction scheme design & construction deposit)
05. Construction site follow-up
The fifth step is to follow up on the construction site and actually modify and adjust - the construction is completed.
